The Center for Civic Engagement is now accepting applications for the
2013-2014 AmeriCorps Program.
AmeriCorps volunteers will have 12 months (August, 2013 – August, 2014) to complete 300 volunteer hours. Upon completion of service, AmeriCorps participants will receive an educational award of approximately $1,175. In addition to the AmeriCorps educational award, students will have ongoing trainings and professional development opportunities to ensure the quality of service they are providing to the community. All majors are encouraged to apply. AmeriCorps volunteers can be part-time or full-time, undergraduate or graduate students.
Applications are available on the Civic Engagement Website or visit the Center for Civic Engagement in Carter Hall G 35 to obtain a hard copy.
Applicants must attend one information session prior to submitting a completed application. Final information sessions will be held in Carter Hall Multipurpose Room on Wednesday, April 10 at 9:00AM and 4:00PM. Completed applications are due to the Center for Civic Engagement in Carter Hall G35 by 4:00PM on Monday, April 15, 2013.
