The University community is invited to attend a memorial dedication for Kody G. Dwire
on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 3pm in front of Old Main.
A bench at the entrance to campus and a tree located near Dixon Hall will be dedicated in his memory.
One week prior to the start of his senior year at California University of Pennsylvania,
Kody Dwire was tragically killed in a car accident near his home.
Kody was a Geology major and very passionate about pursuing a career in this field.
Kody’s legacy will continue on this campus for years to come through an
endowed scholarship fund set up by his parents, family and friends.
Faculty, staff, and students who knew Kody, shared a class with him,
or his passion for Geology are encouraged to attend.
