Class III Vacancy
The Student Association, Inc. is advertising
for the graduate student position for the 2013-14 academic year
on the SAI Board of Directors.
According to the SAI bylaws, Class III member is: One member who shall be a full-time (9 or more credits), full-SAI-fee-paying graduate student of California University of Pennsylvania, elected annually by the Board by a majority vote of the remaining Board members.
Candidates must have demonstrated significant prior service to the University, have good academic and disciplinary standing, and be able to participate in monthly Board meetings on Thursday evenings during the fall 2013 semester (spring 2014 meetings will be determined at a later date). Candidates must schedule 9 or more credits for fall 2013 and for spring 2014 to be eligible to serve.
Meetings: The SAI Board of Directors holds one regular meeting each month. Schedule is established each semester to accommodate the majority of the Board member schedules. Special meetings may be called at the will of the President of the SAI Board of Directors or by a majority of the members of the Board. Board members are also members of various committees that support the business of the SAI.
