We are looking for a graduate assistant to help us with the following:
1. Research process and protocols for recruiting international students from various countries.
2. Summarize documented best practices for international student recruitment, retention, transition, and completion.
3. Explore models of English language programs for international students.
4. Explore adjustments that may need to be made at Cal U in the areas of academic support, dining, residence life, advisement, etc
No prior experience is necessary but an interest in other cultures would be important.
Proficiency in MS Office, plus excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
This person will work closely with the international programming director.
20 hours per week / 300 hours per semester. Specific days and times are negotiable.
