1 Man Play: And They Said I Wouldn’t Make It:

Wednesday, September 18 at 6:30pm in Steele Hall

At the age of 8, Sam was diagnosed with Leukemia and was a nose bleed away from dying.

Now he shares his story about a time where success seemed impossible; yet failing was not an option.

But this is not a story about death or sorrow but one of resilience. A celebration of how our struggles in life shape us into who we are.

This is a story of HOPE.

Join us for this incredible one-man play presented TONIGHT Wednesday, September 18 at 6:30pm in the Steele Hall Black Box Theater. This event is open to ALL and will be hosted by the Multicultural Student Programs, the Be the Match Program ( and the Make Me a Match Project.
