The University community is invited to attend a memorial dedication for Kiel Bobbitt
on Friday, September 27 at 9:00 a.m. near the Emeriti Fountain
located between Herron Hall and Keystone Education Hall.
Kiel was a freshman and very passionate about pursuing a career in communications.
On May 1, 2008 he was found dead in an
off-campus apartment due to the effects of alcohol poisoning.
To remember Kiel and to raise awareness to the tragic events of his death,
his family will be dedicating a cherry blossom tree in his name.
All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend the dedication.
