California University of Pennsylvania Veterans Week Office Decorating Contest – REGISTRATION OPEN!

Approved on May 13, 1938 under the Act 52 Stat. 351; 5 U. S. Code, Sec. 87a, made the 11th Day of November a legal holiday.

As California University of Pennsylvania honors our Veterans on this very special day, we would like to invite all department offices on campus to participate in the 4th Annual Veterans Day Office Decorating Contest!

The contest will begin on Monday November 4th.  The official judging will take place on Thursday November 7th between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The judges will consist of a Cal U Veteran Staff, Faculty and students. The winner will be awarded in the category of "Most Patriotic" and will be notified during the 40th Annual Veterans Day Dinner on November 7th. The 40th Annual Veterans Dinner will take place at 4:30 p.m. on November 7th in the Convocation Center.

Show your Patriotism as we support our campus & community Veterans by decorating your department's office. The best overall winner of the contest will receive a trophy that will travel among winning departments from year to year and also recognized during the dinner.
