OrgSync Tiny Tutorial #9
Students are discovering new involvement opportunities daily. They may have even discovered YOUR club. Don't leave potential new members stranded at the door. Approve their request to join, or give them more information on membership.
How to Check Your Club's Join Requests
- Log in to OrgSync at sai.orgsync.com
- Hover over "My Tools" on your red personal toolbar, then click "Requests"
- Click on the "Joins" tab
- Click each student's request to accept them into your club. If you have membership requirements, click the student's name and send them a message with those requirements.
If you're a recent advisor, another way to check your Join Requests is to navigate to your club's portal, then click on the People link on the left side of the page. All of your current "Join" requests are listed on the right side of the page.
Don't forget about our Tuesday workshop series! This Tuesday, November 12, we meet from 11:00 a.m. - noon in the Mac Lab for "Get Up to Speed with OrgSync: An Overview".

OrgSync is a new way to connect and get involved on campus. Explore events, activities and volunteer opportunities; join student organizations and communicate with other Cal U students. Memberships and activities tracked in OrgSync will appear on your official Cal U Activities Transcript.
OrgSync allows clubs to track spending, manage events, hold elections, manage memberships, message members, and much more. Advisors will be the first administrator for every club, then additional administrators can be assigned--for instance, the club president.
