As you may or may not be aware; Microsoft has officially ended support for Windows XP as of April 8, 2014. Windows XP will no longer be a supported operating system.
As a result of this change in support from Microsoft, California University of Pennsylvania will no longer be able to support personally owned devices with Windows XP as the operating system on the campus network after July 14th, 2014. This means, that if you have a computer that is running Windows XP after this date, you may be unable to gain access to the internet or other campus resources.
It is advised that you contact a PC support provider to upgrade or replace any devices that you wish to use on the Cal U network prior to the start of the fall semester if you wish connect the system to the campus network.
