Day of Service Set for January 27

Cal U will honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with its annual Day of Service on January 27, 2015.
 
From 11:00AM to 2:00PM members of campus clubs and organizations will meet in the Carter Hall Multipurpose Room to perform service-oriented activities coordinated by the  Center for Volunteer Programs and Service Learning.

Projects will be for the following organizations:
Center in the Woods, Washington Family Center Afterschool Program, ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Golden Living Center, local animal shelters, and Meals on Wheels to name a few.
 

During the Day of Service, students may register to participate in an upcoming blood drive organized by Central Blood Bank set for Tuesday, February 3, 2015. You can also register on OrgSync, https://orgsync.com/72015/opportunities/931797/occurrences/2012410.
