If graphic design is your superpower, we want your logo.
The Homecoming Committee is accepting submissions of logos for the 2015 Homecoming festivities to be held the week of Oct. 19-24. This year’s theme is SUPERHEROES.
The winning logo will be used on all Homecoming materials, including posters, postcards, website, t-shirts, and other promotional items. Last year’s winner was Alyssa Skinner ’14, from Frederick, MD.
The ideal logo will be flexible enough to use in portrait or landscape layouts, and be effective in both full-color and black & white. Please be mindful of copyright law when creating your logo!
Please read the following rules and requirements carefully before submitting your logo.
LOGO REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be related to this year’s theme of SUPERHEROES.
- Must include the Cal U logo, or the words California University of PA or Cal U of PA or Cal U, and the current year.
- Must be submitted as a vector graphic in AI, EPS or PDF format with all additional images embedded and fonts outlined.
HOW TO SUBMIT:
- Entry must be submitted online via OrgSync at this link (https://orgsync.com/58722/forms/140500) beginning April 1 and ending no later than Friday, May 1, at 4:00 p.m.
- Students may submit more than one entry. Only Cal U students are eligible.
HOW TO WIN:
- One winner will be selected by popular vote. The winner will be determined by the design that has the most votes on OrgSync at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8.
- The winner will be announced on OrgSync and via social media at the conclusion of voting.
PRIZES:
- Special recognition on the official website, OrgSync, and in other marketing, and announced during various Homecoming-specific events
- Official Homecoming t-shirt & other goodies
- Bragging rights!
