The Jewish New Year, known as Rosh Hashanah, is said to be “a time for rejoicing and introspection” where the Jewish faithful earnestly reflect on their lives. It begins the High Holiday, Ten Day of Repentance or Days of Awe that ends with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. This year, Rosh Hashanah falls on September 6 - 8.
