It's that time of year again! October is national CyberSecurity Awareness month and University Technology Services is pleased to announce that we have updated our Security Awareness Training content for the occasion.
The objective of this training is to reduce risk to the University by educating the community on how to protect the University's data, network and other IT resources. In the process, you learn how to protect yourself! This training is mandatory for Staff, Faculty, and Students!
In many cases, being able to recognize scams and attacks may be the only way to stop them. Failure to do so could put yourself at risk of identity theft and/or financial loss.
Student Training is available in D2L.
Staff and Faculty Training is provided by KnowBe4. You will receive an email with a login link that will guide you through creating your account so you can begin your training.
In addition to security training, we will continue to send out simulated phishing tests so that you can practice the skills you will learn during your training. Be on the look out for these emails in your inbox.
