Are you ready to vote?

 

Election Day – November 2, 2021 – is just around the corner and some deadlines are happening in this month:

Last day to register to vote in the state of Pennsylvania– October 18, 2021. 

Last day to request a mail in or absentee ballot in the state of Pennsylvania – October 26th, 2021.

 

Do you need to register? Check if you are already registered? Update your registration? Find your polling place?  – visit Calu.edu/vote to find links to all of this information!

 

Once you know the when and where of the election, you can focus on researching the what! Get ready to vote by researching the candidates on your ballot.  Check out these helpful, non-partisan websites that can provide you with useful information:

https://www.vote411.org (put together by the League of Women Voters) has a way to preview your ballot – so you can know what is on it ahead of time.

 

For any of us living in Pennsylvania, the Nov. 2nd election is a judicial election (we are electing judges). If you want to know more about who is running, check out the following links.  By choosing a candidate, the website gives you basic background information:
