December 12, 2021 – January 13, 2022
Winter 2021 - Five-Week Online Class
Satisfies both EMEL and Fine Arts Gen Ed
Have you ever wondered how art and the study of its history are relevant today? Join us in this introductory course this Winter term as we discuss a diverse set of topics such as the debates surrounding the removal of Confederate monuments and the role of art history in the field of medicine. We will discuss examples of art from prehistory to the present.
The course is entirely online and asynchronous, and its self-paced format allows for flexibility of study over the Winter break.
