The Vulcan Learning Commons is accepting applications for Graduate Assistant positions for the Spring 2022 semester. We have two different positions available:
Writing Consultant - Job Responsibilities: Work with student writers during any step of the writing process: invention, draft, revise, edit, publish. Work with student writers from a variety of disciplines and subjects. Work with student writers to ensure alignment with and adherence to the paper's prompt or assignment. Location to be primarily on campus during VLC hours of operation.
VLC Assistant – Job Responsibilities: Assist in the daily operations of the VLC. Strong customer service skills appreciated. Greeting students, scheduling tutoring appointments, answering phones and emails, tutoring when appropriate, and general office duties.
