Presented by Anne Rice McCorkle (Prevention Coordinator, SPHS Care Center STTARS Program), Mandated Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse is an in-depth training that provides a clear understanding of the mandated reporting laws in the state of Pennsylvania. Attendees will learn about their obligations under the law, and this session will cover the 10 categories of abuse, where to report, how to report, signs/symptoms of abuse, and how to handle a disclosure.

This 3 hour training is approved to satisfy the training needs for licensed professionals in the state of Pennsylvania. 3 CEU credits will be available for any PA licensed attendee who needs them, and certificates of completion will be provided for everyone who attends. You must be present the entire session to receive credit.

Please note in order for your credits to be submitted directly to the State of Pennsylvania you will be asked to provide specific information as printed on your professional license(s) including your license number during registration. Please have this information ready before you register. Non-PA licensed attendees do not need to provide licensing information.

This training has been approved by the PA Department of Human Services and Department of State to meet mandated reporting (Act 31) license requirements. You must be present the entire session to receive credit.
