Exhibition is now open for view in Mandarino, Room 319.

Through paintings, sculptures, and monotype prints, CalU senior Stephanie Oplinger explores topics of female body shame - society’s criticism and unrealistic body standards, its damage to the female psyche, and the resulting commodification of the female body.

The collection is titled Evolving Bodies because of the message these works express - the changes and evolution of female bodies throughout our lives as beautiful, never-ending, and full of potential.

The exhibition is open now through March 20th.

A “closing” reception will be held on Sunday, March 20th from 2-4pm. All are welcome. Mark your calendars and join us!
