Facilities Management has announced that power to several campus buildings will be interrupted on Monday, March 7, 2022.

This interruption is necessary to assess the cause of a recent power disruption to campus and make necessary repairs. The length of the outage is unknown at this time.

The affected buildings are: Coover, Noss, Steele, Keystone, Natali, Guesman, Residence Hall E, Gallagher, Convocation Center, Morgan, Watkins, Vulcan, South, Old Main, New Science, Helsel, Boiler Plant, Pollock, Hamer and Eberly.

Since the outage could potentially last all day, employees should contact their supervisors to make appropriate work arrangements. Supervisors should refer any questions regarding work arrangements to Eric Guiser.

The outage is scheduled during Spring Break, to eliminate issues with on-campus classes.

As a reminder, all students living on campus, in any of the residence halls, should unplug, defrost and wipe out refrigerators. Any water leakage that causes damages will be assessed if defrosted improperly.

We thank you for your patience as we make these necessary repairs.
