Dear Faculty and Staff,
Judges are needed for Cal U’s 2022 Strike a Spark Conference. The conference will happen on Wednesday, April 20 at Cal U’s Convocation Center. Cal U, Clarion, and Edinboro students are invited to participate.

There are two forums for participating students at this year’s conference:
-1. Live presentations will be judged on April 20 at two different sessions, one in the morning (9:00-10:40 AM) and one in the afternoon (1:00-2:40 PM). Judges can choose to serve at one or both sessions. Live presentations will be on-site at the Convocation Center.
-2. Video presentations will be judged on April 20. The presentations will be accessible on the event website.
All judging will be completed using the online rubric. The following link was for our fall event, and we will revise the rubric as needed. https://www.calu.edu/inside/events/research/judge/index.aspx.
If you wish to serve at the upcoming conference, click on the registration link below to provide contact information and to indicate your judging preference:
-1. Live presentations from 9:00-10:40 AM
-2. Live presentations from 1:00-2:40 PM
-3. Both live sessions (9:00-10:40 AM, 1:00-2:40 PM)
-4. Video presentations
-5. No preference.
Because we don’t know how many students will participate or which mode of presentation they will prefer, we need as many “No preference” responses as possible. A “No preference” response will allow me to assign judges as they are needed across the event, but of course, I understand if your availability is limited.
