The Mentoring Office has multiple Peer Mentor Coordinator (PMC) work-study positions available for Fall 2022 – Spring 2023!
PMC Responsibilities:
· Assist office staff with recruiting, training, and facilitating mentor/protégé relationships
· Attend 1-2 First Year Seminar classes each week to assist faculty and provide support to the students
· Maintain accurate and detailed records of mentor/protégé relationship data
· Plan, promote, and execute events for mentor program participants
· Support the Office of Academic Success with additional programs and initiatives for students
Requirements to apply:
· Must be a current trained peer mentor
· Must have a 3.0 GPA and be in good academic and disciplinary standing
· Must be at least a sophomore by the 2022-23 academic year (second semester freshmen may be considered)
· Must have filed a 2022-23 FAFSA and qualify for work-study through the Financial Aid Office
