Subject: Important Contract Ratification Information for Non-AFSCME Local 2322 Members
On Wednesday, July 26, 2023 an Informational Session and voting will be held in Morgan Hall Auditorium - Room 222. Non-members, if you are interested in voting, you can join AFSCME Local 2322 that day in Morgan Hall – Room 222 and will be permitted to cast your votes. Come join us in this historical process, as each and every vote is important! See the below schedule for specific details and additional information:
9:00 AM – 9:45 AM (Informational Session) – Angela Warner our AFSCME District Council 84 representative and AFSCME Local 2322 President, C.J. DeJuliis will conduct Informational Session on the proposed contact
9:45 AM – 10:00 AM (Question and Answer Session)– Angela Warner our AFSCME District Council 84 representative and AFSCME Local 2322 President, C.J. DeJuliis will conduct Question and Answer session on the aspects provided within proposed AFSCME contract packets and the information session.
10:00 – 1:00 PM (Member Voting) – AFSCME Local 2322 Members can begin voting on the proposed AFSCME contract.
Note: Proposed AFSCME contract packets with details will be provided and if you are unable to attend the Informational and the Question and Answer Sessions, Angela Warner our AFSCME District Council 84 representative and AFSCME Local 2322 President, C.J. DeJuliis will available to address items and questions related to the proposed AFSCME contract.
Important Administrative Leave information: “Supervisors should, within reason, be flexible with beginning and ending times of lunch periods or breaks for employees attending these sessions. Employees will be allowed reasonable travel time in addition to up to one (1) hour away from their job duties if the ratification meeting for their Local is held solely during the employees scheduled work shift (ie. The meeting is held only during the evening and the employee works the evening shift). It is understood that all referenced time off which is not a meal period or break time will be charged to administrative leave.”
