Cal U’s campus is officially closed today, March 5. No classes will be held.

The Vulcan Flyer shuttles will operate until 9:30 p.m. if conditions permit.

What’s open

Residence halls are open.

The Student Center is open and will operate during normal hours, 7 a.m.-2 a.m. Get free hot chocolate 2 p.m. today at the Natali Information Desk.

Today's dining services schedule:

  • Gold Rush — Regular schedule: Breakfast 7–9:30 a.m., lunch 10:30 a.m.–2 p.m., dinner 4–7:30 p.m.
  • Modeco — 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Flatz — 9 a.m.-1 a.m.
  • Prime House — 10:30 a.m.-midnight
  • Flatz Express at Vulcan Village — 4:30 p.m.-midnight, pickup only, no room service

Herron Recreation Center is open 6 a.m.-8 p.m.

The Multimedia Access Center (MAC Lab) is open from 1-9 p.m. today.

PSECU opens at 11 a.m.

The Health Center is open 24 hours.

Tonight's performance of "The Vagina Monologues" will go on as scheduled in the Blaney Theatre. (Tickets can be exchanged for Friday's show.)

SPECIAL SNOW DAY ENTERTAINMENT: Watch social media #calusnowday for a SnowPERSON-building contest. Winner gets a $25 bookstore gift certificate. To enter, post photos to Student Activities Board (SAB).

FIRST Robotics begin activities at 11 a.m. in the Convocation Center. The campus community and the public may attend; free admission.

California University Police are on duty; call 724-938-4299 to reach police or to report emergency housing needs.

What’s closed

The MSW Open House & Information Night has been canceled.

Manderino Library and Noss Hall are closed today.

Sycamore Bistro, the Food Court and the Food Truck are closed today.

The bookstore is closed today.

All offices in Dixon Hall, including Financial Aid and the Bursar’s Office, are closed.

Regular appointments at the Counseling Center are canceled. For crises, go to the Health Center.
