    Betsy Kling, a three-time Emmy-winning meteorologist from WKYC in Cleveland, Ohio, will speak at Cal U at 1 p.m. Friday, March 31, in Eberly Hall, Room 255. Her talk is part of the Meteorology Club’s Spring Colloquia Series.

    Dr. Michael Mann, an expert in climate change, will speak at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, in Eberly Hall 110 as part of the Cal U Meteorology Club's fall speaker series. Mann is the co-author of 'The Madhouse Effect,' which addresses the hot-button environmental issue.

  • PROFESSOR HONORED FOR CONSERVATION EFFORTS

    The U.S. Forest Service has honored Dr. Carol Bocetti, a professor in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, and her team for their efforts to save an endangered songbird species. It is Bocetti's second national award for her work with the Kirtland's warbler.
