Horsin' Around – Danielle
She knew the campus. She knew her major. But Cal U was still full of surprises.
Danielle Thompson came to PennWest California as a quiet, reserved kid who knew she
wanted to teach. The secondary education program and her job at the student Welcome Center forced her out of her
comfort zone, and she’s truly branched out. Even better, she found the Equestrian Team and is now a captain
– keeping up
with a passion for horses that started at the age of two.
PennWest California’s clubs and organizations set a standard for Danielle. While we didn’t chart her path, we gave her the tools to build her future, her way.
