Business Administration: Accounting Concentration

Our curriculum is designed to provide you with the training and skills necessary to solve diverse business and economic problems. In addition to the core courses, you will need to take the following courses for the accounting concentration:

  • Specialized accounting (ACC) courses (18 credits)
  • Electives: ACC, BUS, ECO, FIN, MGT or MKT courses, 300 level or above (9 credits)

Below is the recommended eight-semester schedule of courses for the accounting concentration.

ENG 101, 211, MAT 181 OR 182, CSC 101, PHI 246, UNI 100, Humanities Elective, Social Science Elective, Natural Science Elective, Free Elective.

BUS 100, ACC 200, 331, MGT 300. Economics Electives (6 credits): select two courses from the following list: ECO 100, 200, 201 OR 202. Accounting Electives (9 credits): select courses with adviser’s approval.

Select courses from the following list with adviser’s approval: ACC, BUS, ECO, FIN, MGT OR MKT courses (3-9 credits), COM 250, MAT 171, 225, OR PSY 209.
