If you’ve got questions, Cal U has answers — and a new way to get them.

The University has introduced a chat feature on pages at calu.edu related to the offices of Admissions (graduate, undergraduate and transfer) and Academic Success

Cal U experts are standing by to answer questions about enrolling at Cal U, registering for classes, taking placement tests, and more. The chats are monitored from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Eastern Time. Outside of those hours, students may leave a message and contact email so staff can respond.

“This gives students another option to interact with students in real time,” said Dr. Daniel Engstrom, associate vice president for Academic Success. “Other options include Zoom meetings, texts and emails. We have the ability to send documents through chat if, for example, a student wants to change a major.”

“Cal U wants to make finding answers to your questions much easier when students/parents visit these designated websites,” said T. David Garcia, vice president for Enrollment Management.  “Admission staff members will be available during set chat times to answer questions or provide information in real time.”
