All Cal U students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a virtual Open Forum with Chancellor Dan Greenstein beginning at noon Monday, Sept. 28.

Greenstein, chancellor of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, is making a “virtual visit” to each of the 14 State System universities this fall.

To join the virtual forum, sign in to Zoom and use the link https://passhe.zoom.us/j/98900910906. The meeting ID is 989 0091 0906.

During the open forum he will share information about the future of System Redesign and answer questions from our Cal U community.

Cal U students, faculty and staff may submit questions for the Chancellor to Kelly Moran, chief of staff to President Geraldine Jones, at moran@calu.edu. Questions will be compiled and delivered to the Chancellor’s Office at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24.

Questions submitted through the “live chat” feature on Zoom also may be addressed during the forum.

Before campuses across Pennsylvania altered their operations in response to the coronavirus pandemic, Greenstein made a point of visiting State System universities regularly to meet with students, faculty, staff and administrators. Each visit included a forum, open to all, that provided an opportunity for the chancellor to share information and answer audience members’ questions.

Virtual visits replaced those in-person sessions this fall.

“When I became Chancellor two years ago, I believed then as I do now that hearing directly from students, faculty and staff ranks among the most important things I can do,” said Greenstein.

“Fortunately, we can employ technology and enjoy a healthy exchange of ideas online. I look forward to our time together.”
