Grad Speaker Series Returns for Spring

Diversity professional will kick off the series beginning Feb. 9.

Successful alumni will return virtually to Cal U for the spring semester for the Graduate School Speaker Series.

The speaker series is sponsored by the School of Graduate Studies and Research at Cal U and invites engagement with “great minds and important ideas” in a virtual environment.

At 7 p.m. Feb. 9, Anthony Kane will present “Doing Good for Those You Serve … and Who Serve You.” Zoom link: https://calu.zoom.us/j/98133600503

Kane earned his B.S.W. and M.S.W. from Cal U and is director for Diversity and Inclusion at Duquesne University. In that role, he leads the Center for Excellence in Diversity and Student Inclusion and advocates for student initiatives that will enhance the student experience and promote a positive sense of belonging on campus.

Huth earned his bachelor’s degree from Cal U in graphic communications with a minor in marketing. He formed Huth Industries LP, a property management and real estate development firm, and Huth Enterprises, a management consulting and venture capital group.

“My passion is solving problems and working with people, and I enjoy assisting companies with sourcing talent as well as developing strategies for long term growth,” Huth said.
