The Mon Valley YMCA will be holding Lifeguard Training/Re-Certification Classes
Location: Mon Valley YMCA 101 Taylor Run Road Monongahela, PA 15063
When: Feb 27th 6:30PM - 7:30PM prerequisite test *REQUIRED*
Following On-site Meetings: March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
Times: 8:00 AM to 1:00PM
Prerequisite: Candidates must be able to swim fluently 300 yards using the four basic strokes and attend all classes. Everyone must attend.
Instruction includes lifeguard, first aid, CPR/AED, disease prevention. With the blended learning program you will do most of the book work and watch the videos online on your own and the scheduled on-site days, you will focus on water skills. It is important that you complete the scheduled online learnings before pool days.
NOTE: Instructors will not teach swimming and or strokes
Cost: $ 270 for non YMCA members.......... $ 250 for YMCA members
