In order to add more transparency to the technology fee request process, a committee was formed to streamline the request process and evaluation and approval of all requests. The committee consists of:
AVP of UTECH, Dr. Brian Kraus
AVP of Academic Affairs, Dr. Stephen Whitehead
Dean of Library Services and Undergraduate Research, Mr. Doug Hoover
UTECH Client Services Manager, Mr. George Albert
Director of TLC, Dr. Joe Zisk
Faculty Member, Dr. Robert Whyte.
The new process allows the campus community to view the technology fee requests, expenditures, and annual budget. All of this information is available in a D2L course shell, which you should see in your course list, called Technology Fee Requests. The tech fee proposal form can be found on the D2L site. If you have any projects that are appropriate for technology fee use, please work through the request process as soon as possible and submit. Ideally, we would like Spring 19 projects submitted by 11/30/18 and all Fall 19 projects submitted by 4/1/19. Any questions can be directed to the co-chairs, Dr. Brian Kraus or Dr. Stephen Whitehead.
