Work-study positions available for

Multicultural Affairs & Commuter Services

 

The Office of Multicultural Affairs & Diversity Education and Commuter & Non-Traditional Student Services are looking to fill work-study positions for fall 2019.  Interested students MUST have knowledge and interest in cultural diversity matters and general knowledge about the commuter student experience. These positions require strong communication, peer engagement skills, and social media experience.

·        Students will assist with several office responsibilities including planning, implementing and attending cultural & diversity-related programs research & essay writing; tabling and disseminating information and resources; contacting other campus departments to collect information and developing PR and marketing material

·        Students will assist with engagement and interaction with peers and other members of the campus community who may enter or utilize office meeting spaces

·        Students will assist with engagement and interaction with peers and other members of the campus community through periodic on-location commuter engagement programs Students will assist with monitoring office activity, including office, coverage; respond to office emails and phone calls
