Asynchronous Online Class, Soc 379-W01 - Special Problems in Sociology: People with Disabilities in Societies (CRN: 10588)
- No textbook required, course materials will be posted on D2L
- In this course, students will explore the experiences of people with disabilities in the US and internationally and apply sociological and disabilities studies theories to better understand those experiences. The last section of the course is focused on disability justice activism and advocacy and will include interviews with individual disability justice activists directed by student-submitted interview questions throughout the semester.
