Due to COVID-19 families are staying at home more often and there has been an increase in stress and tensions. Unfortunately, some of this has led to instances of domestic violence.

Domestic violence can be physical, emotional or psychological.  It can be manipulative or threatening to family members (children, parents, siblings, others), friends and pets.  If you are facing a domestic violence situation, there is help:

 

For Students:  Counseling Center: 724-938-4056    (Carter Hall)

         Emergency Contacts: Public Safety, 724-938-4357 (HELP) or 9-1-1

         Non-Violence Center:  724-938-1594  (Natali Student Union) 

For Employees:

· State Employees Assistance Programs (SEAP):   If you want to ask a question or request a service, simply call SEAP's toll-free number at 1-800-692-7459

· Contact your local police or 9-1-1
