Thursday, February 12 – 28 in the lobby of Manderino Library

“Significant African-Americans with Local Roots: a photo display”

View this photo exhibit showcasing notable artists, athletes, humanitarians

and business professionals each with a connection to western Pennsylvania.

 

Thursday, February 19

Slam Poetry Events featuring Drew Law

A Slam poetry workshop takes place at 1pm in the Natali Student Center Suite 101. Anyone interested in learning more about this art or looking for help from a professional should stop by. Anyone and everyone should see this event.

PLUS a Slam Poetry performance featuring Drew will be held at 9pm in the Food Court. Again anyone and everyone interested should stop by and check this out.  These events are sponsored by the Student Activities Board.

Historically Black Greek Letter Organizations: a brief presentation

Hear a brief account about these important organizations and their activity in Western Pennsylvania by noted Pittsburgh teacher Carlton Heywood.
