Black History Events This Week: Thursday, February 12 – 28 in the lobby of Manderino Library “Significant African-Americans with Local Roots: a photo display” View this photo exhibit showcasing notable artists, athletes, humanitarians and business professionals each with a connection to western Pennsylvania. Thursday, February 19 Slam Poetry Events featuring Drew Law A Slam poetry workshop takes place at 1pm in the Natali Student Center Suite 101. Anyone interested in learning more about this art or looking for help from a professional should stop by. Anyone and everyone should see this event. PLUS a Slam Poetry performance featuring Drew will be held at 9pm in the Food Court. Again anyone and everyone interested should stop by and check this out. Coming Up: Monday, February 23 at 7pm in Morgan 222 Historically Black Greek Letter Organizations: a brief presentation Hear a brief account about these important organizations and their activity in Western Pennsylvania by noted Pittsburgh teacher Carlton Heywood.
