California University celebrates Latinx Heritage Month
Café con Leche Panel Discussion about Latinx Cultura
Every year since 1968, from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, a month is dedicated to celebrating the culture, heritage and accomplishments of people with Latinx heritage in the U.S.
California, Clarion, and Edinboro universities are proud to once again join in these important festivities and celebrate Latinx Heritage Month
This year, the Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion presents “Café con Leche Panel Discussion about Latinx Cultura,” which will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 6 via Zoom. This panel will feature Latinx members from California, Clarion and Edinboro universities.
Panelists include Dr. Diez-Morel (Edinboro, Social Work), Dr. Sheila Lorenzo de la Peña (Edinboro, Art Therapy), Dr. Andrea Vargas Cencich (California, Humanities), T. David Garcia (California, VP for Enrollment Management), Dr. Sandra Trejos (Clarion, Social Sciences) and Dr. Jason Heavilin (Clarion, Finance, Law, Accounting & Real Estate).
