Faculty experts in history, political science, psychology and criminal justice at California University of Pennsylvania will present a panel discussion on the Russian invasion of Ukraine at 11 a.m. March 14.
“Ukraine, Terror and War Crimes: Legal, Historical and Political Perspectives” will be held in Duda Hall 202 and will also be available on Zoom at https://calu.zoom.us/j/97219377600.
Presenters will be Dr. Tamare Piersaint, on the psychological toll of war on children; Dr. Sean Madden, on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s nostalgia for the old empire and the impact today; Dr. Joseph Heim, on diplomacy and Putin’s goals; and Dr. Mathilda Spencer, on social justice perspectives.
Moderator will be Dr. John Cencich, a former senior international war crimes investigator for the United Nations and criminal justice professor at Cal U.
