Cal U Fraternity and Sorority Life

A student wearing Greek letters twirls a hula-hoop.

Cal U offers a rich tradition of college fraternities (Greek letter organizations for men) and sororities (Greek letter organizations for women). Social activities, student leadership, scholarship and community are at the core of Cal U Fraternity and Sorority Life. And because all Cal U fraternities and sororities adhere to the University's values of integrity, civility and responsibility, there's no hazing allowed.

Peer Mentoring

Cal U students study.

Get an insider's view of Cal U - even before you start school. One of the best ways for freshmen and new transfer students to have a top college experience is through our Peer Mentoring Program. This program pairs first-year students with upperclassmen who often are in the same major or share similar interests.

Peer mentoring provides:

  • A built-in resource to talk with about what to expect when you arrive at Cal U.
  • A great guide to help you navigate the campus, college events, social life and academic responsibilities.

For more information, contact Cal U's Peer Mentoring Program at 724-938-1682 or mentoring@calu.edu.

Campus Ministry

Students in stand work a booth.

Located in Cal U's hub of student life, the Natali Student Center, the University's campus ministry engages and supports students through character development, prayer, learning, service and social interaction. Campus ministry chaplains represent various faiths and can put students in touch with priests, ministers, clerics or rabbis of their chosen denomination in California, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding area.
