Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems
Do you enjoy finding better ways to get things done using computers? Are you interested in understanding how computers can make businesses work better? Then a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems (CIS) may be the degree for you.
With a Bachelor of Science in CIS, you'll be equipped with the tools necessary for continued study at the graduate level or for employment in business, industry or government. This program combines knowledge of leading-edge information technologies and systems methodologies with an understanding of the ever-changing needs of today's dynamic business environment.
We're looking for students who are interested in working with technology to find solutions to business problems and/or to critically analyze existing business processes and their systems and to redesign them into streamlined, optimized processes. While a fundamental understanding of information technology is a cornerstone of the degree, an equally important and distinguishing element of the CIS degree is a solid foundation in basic business functions.
