Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy

The word "philosophy" comes from two Greek words that mean love (phileo) and wisdom (sophia), and throughout much of history, anyone who sought knowledge was called a philosopher.

As a student studying philosophy, you'll learn the historical development of theories about the nature of knowledge, reality and values as well as how to assess such theories. You will develop abilities to think logically, explore issues from different perspectives and present your ideas effectively in writing.
