Commencement Speakers
  • Dr. Deborah Ann Shanley, Class of 1974, will address master’s degree candidates. The dean of the School of Education at Brooklyn College since 1998, Shanley’s work with multiple college and community constituencies earned her a Humanitarian Award from the CUNY Consortium for the Study of Disabilities and the Medgar Evers College Worker Education Program.
  • Mark Camillo, Class of 1976, will address bachelor’s and associate degree candidates. A law enforcement and security professional who specializes in emergency preparedness operations, he is credited with directing the security operations of some of the most critical infrastructures in the world. Students lining up during Commencement at Cal U.
