Did You Know!?!?!?!!

 

  • In November 2016, President Jones approved the name change of the former Office of Veterans Affairs – it is now the Office of Military and Veterans Affairs

  • The Office of Military and Veterans Affairs is the primary resource center for all Service members, Veterans, Reservists, and Dependents of a Veteran of Service member.

  • The Office of Military and Veterans Affairs is responsible for processing all Department of Veteran’s Affairs Educational benefits such as the G.I. Bill or Dependents Education Assistance Program. 

  • Office of Military and Veterans Affairs provides a variety of services and programs throughout the year, including information specific to military and veteran employment, behavioral health and readjustment to the college environment. 

  • The office is located in Hall E, Rooms 160, 145, 146, 147, 18, 149, 156, 157, and 158, and has a dedicated space for veterans to relax, study and socialize with other veterans and service members attending Cal U.

  • The Office of Military and Veterans Affairs is co-located with the Department of Military Science (Army R.O.T.C.).
