Did You Know!?!?!?!!

 

California University of Pennsylvania welcomes otherwise qualified students with disabilities as members of the University community.  The Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) is here for you!

 

The mission of the Office for Students with Disabilities is to insure the availability of reasonable accommodations.

The goals of the Office for Students with Disabilities are to:
* Comply with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
* Provide reasonable accommodations to ensure equal access to University programs and services.
* Support the University in providing and enhancing learning opportunities for a diverse population.

 

The philosophy of the Office for Students with Disabilities maintains that a responsible partnership between the University and its students with disabilities will facilitate the prospects for academic success.
The University is committed to its responsibility to ensure access and participation for otherwise qualified students with disabilities. Students with disabilities are responsible for bringing appropriate levels of academic skills, interest, initiative and self-advocacy to the partnership.
