This program is offered, free-of-charge, to individuals, parents, community stakeholders, and human service providers (social workers, psychologists, therapists, teachers, health care providers, law enforcement personnel, religious leaders, etc.) who are committed to primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention of the growing epidemic of sexual exploitation of children, adolescents, young adults and other at-risk groups of vulnerable individuals. This year’s Shatter-the-Silence Summit builds on the work of others who participated in last year’s program and worked to “shatter-the-silence” in their own communities. It also builds on the work of those who have served as leaders in identification, rescue, and rehabilitation work with sexually exploited individuals.
