Attention Cal U family & friends!
Are you interested in sending packages to our troops overseas? Would you like to send a card signed by employees and students in your department?
Contact veterans@calu.edu if you would like to participate in the February 2014 troop drive to support our Cal U family members serving in Afghanistan. Two Cal U Alumni, Class of 2011, are serving in Afghanistan with the United States Army. Additionally, a Cal U Army R.O.T.C. Professor of Military Science Instructor has been activated with the United States Army Reserve and is serving in Afghanistan. All three Soldiers were serving during the holiday season.
Join the Office of Veterans Affairs & Veterans Club in sending cards, small Cal U items such as stickers, pens, or other light weight items. Personalized items such as cards and hand written notes are recommended.

Packages will be sent no later than Friday February 21, 2014. The first names of the Soldiers are: (Joe & Nicholas, Cal U Alumni) & Ron (Army R.O.T.C. Instructor).
