Free Faculty / Staff Parking
California University has designated 276 FREE campus parking spots for eligible faculty, coaches, staff and non-faculty employees.
Beginning this fall, Lot 4 (River Lot) will have 200 free parking spaces and Lot 14 (behind Residence Hall C, across the Loop Road) will have 76 free parking spaces.
Parking will be available in these areas on a first come, first served basis. Drivers must register online to obtain a permit.
Permits are renewable. Only ONE will be issued per person. Permit holders may register as many as three vehicles.
PLEASE NOTE: Having a permit does NOT guarantee that a free parking space will be available. If all spaces are filled in both designated lots, drivers may park at Roadman Park and ride the Vulcan Flyer to the main campus, or pay for parking in the Vulcan Garage.
Permits for free parking should be properly displayed on the lefthand side of the car’s rear window. Please visit the Office of Parking and Transportation on the first floor of Manderino Library to register for free parking.
Any person parking outside the designated area will receive a citation. These permits will not be recognized during large events, commencements, concerts or other events open to the general public.
