Graduate Program Rates and Fee Descriptions for 2019-2020

Many graduate students attend classes either at the main campus or PennWest California's Center for Innovation at Southpointe, as well as online. If you attend even one class on the main campus, you will be charged a main campus fee for that semester. Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Tuition Technology Fee

The purpose of this fee is for instructional technology. It supplements the current resources PennWest California puts into instructional technology. It will enhance student access to technology in the classroom.

University Service Fee

This fee has three components: Health Services Fee, Counseling Center Fee and Career Service Fee.

Student Association Fee

This fee covers the activities and services provided by the Student Association Inc. (SAI) and funds the many student organizations on campus.

Student Union Building Fee

This fee covers the cost of renovating the Natali Student Center and constructing the addition to that building. Under policy of the Board of Governors of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, these costs are to be paid by the students. The project was approved in a student referendum.

As required by the policy of the Board of Governors of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, the cost of operating and maintaining the Natali Student Center is to be paid by student fees.

Academic Support Fee - Fall and Spring Semesters

This fee supplements funds provided by the tuition to meet costs of educational supplies and equipment in the academic programs of the University.

Herron Recreation and Fitness Center Fee

This fee covers the costs of renovating the Herron Recreation and Fitness Center.  Under policy of the Board of Governors of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, these costs are to be paid by the students. The project was approved in a student referendum.

This fee will cover operational expenses of the facility, such as equipment upgrades and purchases.

Transportation Fee

This fee covers the expenses related to the expansion and improvement of the current shuttle service between main campus and Roadman Park and points in between.

How much will you pay for the Global Online programs at PennWest California?

That depends on a number of variables, including whether or not you are a Pennsylvania resident and what program you are taking. Every July, the Board of Governors establishes the tuition rates for the following academic year.
