Cal U provides two locations to meet the needs of nursing mothers who attend or work at Cal U. Both lactation areas provide a safe, private space where breastfeeding moms can pump or express milk. These areas are available to all Cal U students, faculty and staff.

The lactation space in the Women's Center has comfortable seating, with electrical outlets and easy access to a handwashing area and cleansing wipes. Refrigerated lockers inside the lactation room allow breast milk to be stored securely. Moms who need access during evening hours may request the key at the Information Desk in the student center's lobby.

A snug, secure space on Manderino Library's floor has a rocking chair and electrical outlet. The lactation room is kept locked; stop at the Circulation Desk on the library's main floor to sign out (and return) the key.
