Middle States Commission on Higher Education Accreditation

California University of Pennsylvania is a public university accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, 2nd Floor West, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (267-284-5000).

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Accreditation Reports and Responses

In order to be re-accredited, colleges and universities undergo a self-study every 10 years and submit a Periodic Review Report (PRR) at the five-year point between self-studies.

Cal U submitted its last PRR in June 2015, and its accreditation was reaffirmed by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Accreditation on November 19, 2015.

The next self-study is due in 2020.
